Women's Volleyball Loses in Three at Farmingdale State

Patchogue, N.Y.— The John Jay women’s volleyball team lost in three straight in the opening match of the CUNYAC/Skyline crossover tournament on Saturday as the Bloodhounds were defeated by scores of 30-24, 30-14, and 30-23.
 
Sara Altamirano (Bronx, NY / John F. Kennedy) recorded 12 kills for John Jay to go along with 17 digs, while Jennifer Gonzalez (Bronx, NY / Jane Addams Vocational) added six kills and nine digs.
 
Andrea Medina (Brentwood, NY / Brentwood) had 11 digs and two kills, and Nicole Colon (Baldwin, NY / Baldwin) had three service aces in the contest. Erica Lee (New York, NY / Seward Park) had 18 assists for John Jay.
