Women's Volleyball Strolls Past SUNY Old Westbury

Patchogue, N.Y.— The John Jay women’s volleyball team ended its CUNYAC / Skyline Crossover Challenge on a positive note as the Bloodhounds defeated SUNY Old Westbury in four sets (30-24, 30-21, 14-30, 30-27).
 
Jennifer Gonzalez (Bronx, NY / Jane Addams Vocational) drilled a season-high 16 kills and had 22 digs. Sara Altamirano (Bronx, NY / John F. Kennedy) added 15 kills, seven service aces, and 14 digs for John Jay.
 
Josephine LoBaido (Astoria, NY / St. John’s Prep) and Katherine Higuera-McCoy (Jamaica, NY / St. Francis Prep) had 13 digs apiece in the win. Erica Lee (New York, NY / Seward Park) had 36 assists for John Jay.
