New York, N.Y.— The John Jay women’s volleyball season came to an end on Tuesday evening as the Bloodhounds were defeated in three straight to Baruch College in the quarterfinal round of the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) women’s volleyball tournament. Final scores were 30-15, 30-23, and 30-13 as John Jay ends its season with a 10-21 (3-6 CUNYAC) record.

 

In tonight’s match Sara Altamirano (Bronx, NY / John F. Kennedy), Andrea Medina (Brentwood, NY / Brentwood), and Tatyana Yachnik (Bishkek, Krygyzstan / Lafayette) each had four kills to pace the Bloodhounds. Medina added 10 digs, while Altamirano added six for John Jay.

 

Anjanette Perez (Hackensack, NJ / Hackensack) had 12 assists for John Jay to go along with six digs.
