Women's Volleyball Falls in Three Straight at Hunter College

New York, N.Y.— The John Jay women’s volleyball team fell at Hunter College in three straight on Tuesday evening as the Bloodhounds were defeated by the Hawks 30-14, 30-15, and 30-15. John Jay is now 4-6 (1-2 CUNYAC).
 
The Bloodhounds were led by Sara Altamirano (Bronx, NY / John F. Kennedy) with six kills, nine digs, and a solo block.
 
Jennifer Gonzalez (Bronx, NY / Jane Addams Vocational) and Anjanette Perez (Hackensack, NJ / Hackensack) added four kills a piece in the match. Gonzalez also contributed with two service aces and a solo block.
 
Andrea Medina (Brentwood, NY / Brentwood) chipped in with 14 digs for the Bloodhounds.
 
John Jay returns to action on Thu. Sept. 20 at Mt. St. Mary’s at 6:30 p.m.
