Women's Volleyball Loses in Four at Kean

Union, N.J.— The John Jay women’s volleyball team lost in four matches to Kean University, the host school  of a tri-match on Saturday. The Bloodhounds won the first match 31-29 before losing the next three, 30-27, 30-28, and 30-19.
 
Jennifer Gonzalez (Bronx, NY /  Jane Addams Vocational) recorded a team-high six kills in the match to go along with 13 digs a block solo, two block assists, and a service ace, while Tatyana Yachnik (Bishkek, Krygyzstan / Lafayette) added four kills and two block assists.
 
Sara Altamirano (Bronx, NY / John F. Kennedy) had a team-high 16 digs, while Andrea Medina (Brentwood, NY / Brentwood) had 14.
 
Nicole Colon (Baldwin, NY / Baldwin) had a team-high three service aces.
 
John Jay recorded a season-high eight solo blocks in the match.
 
Anjanette Perez (Hackensack, NJ / Hackensack) had a team-high 13 assists for John Jay.
