Women's Volleyball Powers Past Brooklyn

New York, N.Y. --- The John Jay women’s volleyball team defeated Brooklyn College, 3-1, in John Jay’s second match of the day at the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) multi-match at Hunter College Monday morning.

The Bloodhounds won by scores of 25-15, 18-25, 25-22, 25-23.

In the win, Tatyana Yachnik had 11 kills, while Justyna Kopec had seven kills and no errors (.636 percentage). Teammates Erica Lee and Anjanette Perez had five kills each. Lee added 26 assists and five digs, while Perez tallied 10 digs.

Andrea Medina had 19 digs and four service aces, while Katherine Higuera-McCoy added 12 digs and a pair of service aces.
