Women's Volleyball Loses Three Straight at Ramapo

Mahwah, N.J.— The John Jay women’s volleyball team was defeated on Thursday evening as the Bloodhounds lost on the road at Ramapo College, losing to the Roadrunners in three straight by scores of 25-13, 25-12, 25-13.
 
The Bloodhounds got a team-high six kills from Tatyana Yachnik, while teammates Andrea Medina, Crystal Reyes, Justyna Kopec and Anjanette Perez had two each.
 
John Jay had 16 kills collectively in the contest and had a .066 hitting percentage.
 
Erica Lee had 11 assists in the match, while Katherine Higuera-McCoy had a team-high seven digs.
 
Ramapo put up a .411 hitting percentage in the affair and got a game-high 14 kills from Kayka Anders, while Meagan Taege added eight.
 
John Jay returns to action on Tue. Oct. 7 for a home match against Centenary College at 7 p.m.
