Women’s Volleyball Falls to CCNY in 2008 Conference Opener

Bronx, N.Y. --- The John Jay women’s volleyball team was defeated in three straight in the first match of two on Saturday at the CUNYAC Multi-Match as the Bloodhounds were defeated by CCNY 25-7, 25-10, 25-9.

The Bloodhounds were held to a season low seven kills, five of which were recorded by Tatyana Yachnik who also added a solo block. Fellow teammates Anjanette Perez and Katherine Higuera-McCoy had a kill apiece in the contest. Higuera-McCoy added six digs in the contest.

Erica Lee had four assists in the match for John Jay.
