Women's Volleyball Falls in Three to Kean

New York, N.Y. --- The John Jay women’s volleyball team lost in their first of two matches of the afternoon as the Bloodhounds were defeated by Kean University 3-0 at the Doghouse on Saturday morning.
 
The Bloodhounds were paced by Justyna Kopec and Tatyana Yachnik with six kills apiece. Fellow teammate Andrea Medina contributed five kills along with a team-high three service aces and a game-high 18 digs.
 
John Jay recorded 25 kills in the match and combined for 40 digs. Anjanette Perez had three kills and a service ace to go along with nine digs.
 
Erica Lee had 15 assists for John Jay.
 
Kean was paced by Ivana Kapetanovic with nine kills with eight kills and five digs. Mary Aldna added 12 digs for the Cougars, who also defeated the College of New Rochelle in its other match today.
