Newburgh, N.Y.— The John Jay women's volleyball team was defeated in three straight on the road Tuesday as the Bloodhounds fell to the College of Mount Saint Mary 25-22, 25-16, 25-15.
The Bloodhounds were paced by Justyna Kopec (Nowa Deba, Poland, Franklin D. Roosevelt) with seven kills and six digs, while Andrea Medina (Brentwood, NY, Brentwood) had three kills and six digs. Siobhan West (Manhasset, NY, Benjamin Cardozo)had 10 assists. Aleksandra Fenik (Riga, Lativa, James Madison) had three service aces for John Jay.
John Jay returns to action on Thu. Oct. 8 for a home contest against William Peterson University at 6 p.m.
