New York, N.Y.— The John Jay women's volleyball team lost three straight on the road as the Bloodhounds were defeated by Hunter College 25-6, 25-9, 25-16 at the Hunter College Sportsplex on Tuesday night.
With the loss, John Jay is now 2-7 overall and 1-3 in City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) play.
Jessica Davies (Brawley, CA, Indio) led the way for the Bloodhounds with four kills, while
Andrea Medina (Brentwood, NY, Brentwood) added three kills and a game-high 12 digs.
Katherine Higuera-McCoy (Jamaica, NY, St. Francis Prep) had nine kills, while
Erica Lee (New York, NY, Seward Park) and
Justyna Kopec (Nowa Deba, Poland, Franklin D. Roosevelt) had seven each. Lee added 10 assists for John Jay.
John Jay returns to action on Thu. Sept. 24 for a home match against the United States Merchant Marine Academy at 6 p.m.
