After a steal by Harry with twenty-six seconds remaining, John Jay was down by a point with a shot clock turned off. Alexander fired up a three pointer that missed, but a monster rebound by Lionel Lorquet kept the Bloodhounds with possession.

Eventually Harry was fouled and went to the line and made one of two. Despite missing the second of two, Holman grabbed the offensive rebound keeping the possession with the Bloodhounds.

Holman took the final shot of regulation that rimmed out forcing overtime.

In the extra session, John Jay led by as much as six and had an 80-74 lead with just under a minute to play. But the Bears could not get over the hump. Clutch shooting by the Bloodhounds in the final moments ensued John Jay's undefeated record to stay in tack.
