Bronx, N.Y.— The John Jay women's volleyball team was defeated by the College of Mount Saint Vincent 3-0 on Thursday evening.
The Bloodhounds lost by scores of 25-18, 25-23, 25-17. John Jay is now 1-9 on the season.
Justyna Kopec (Nowa Deba, Poland, Franklin D. Roosevelt) paced the Bloodhounds with a team-high seven kills to go along with 11 digs. Fellow teammate
Renauta Sailsman (Spanishtown, Jamaica, HS For Health Professions) had a team-high 13 digs.
Rosmery Martinez (Santo Domingo, DR, James Madison)five kills and nine digs, while
Crystal Reyes had 13 assists.
John Jay is back in action on Friday Sept. 24 for a home match against New Jersey City University at 6 p.m
