Women's Volleyball Falls at St. Joseph's-Long Island

Patchogue, N.Y.— The John Jay women's volleyball team was defeated in three straight (25-19, 25-12, 25-20) by St. Joseph's-Long Island on Saturday afternoon to close out the 2011 regular season.
 
The Bloodhounds will now turn their focus to this Tuesday as John Jay, the No. 8 seed, will take on No. 1 seed Hunter College at the 2011 City University of New York Athletic Conference / Con Edison women's volleyball championship.
 
In Saturday's contest, the Bloodhounds were led by Martina Hot with seven kills, while Renauta Sailsman added five.
 
Rocio Chavira had 14 digs, while Sailaman and Kathleen Estevez had seven each.
