New York, N.Y.— The John Jay women's soccer team was defeated by Brooklyn College 3-0 (25-18, 25-16, 26-24) in a City University of New York Athletic Conference duel match at the Doghouse on Tuesday evening.
With the loss, John Jay is now 0-5 (0-3 CUNYAC) this season, while Brooklyn is now 2-1 (2-0 CUNYAC) this season.
John Jay was led by
Martina Hot with eight kills, two service acesa and four digs. Meanwhile
Kathleen Estevez added four kills and nine digs.
Renauta Sailsman had 10 digs for John Jay.
Brooklyn was led by Caitlin McMullen and Jillian Escobar with six kills each. Iris Clopton-Robinson had a match high 14 digs.
John Jay returns to action on Saturday for a quad match at Ramapo College starting at 11 a.m.
