New York, N.Y.— The John Jay women's volleyball team was defeated by New Jersey City University (NJCU) 3-0 (25-10, 25-13, 25-22) at the Doghouse on Thursday evening.
With the loss, John Jay is now 0-10 overall this season. NJCU improves to 3-2 on the year.
The Bloodhounds were led by
Kathleen Estevez with four kills and a team co-high seven digs.
Martina Hot and
Renauta Sailsman had three kills each in the contest.
NJCU was led by Tabitha Jordan with six kills, while Kiara Martinez and Brittany Erezuma had four kills for the Gothic Knights. Michelle Rayo had 12 a game-high 12 digs.
John Jay is back in action on Saturday for a tri-match at Wentworth Institute starting at 1 p.m.
