Box Score Purchase, N.Y.— The John Jay women's volleyball team was defeated by Manhattanville College 3-0 on Wednesday night losing by scores of 18-25, 12-25, 9-25.
With the loss, John Jay is now 0-2 overall this season, while Manhattanville College remains undefeated at 4-0 overall in 2011.
The Bloodhounds were led by
Martina Hot with six kills and eight digs. Meanwhile
Dulce Aybar added three kills in the loss.
Kathleen Estevez had a pair of kills, service aces to go along with eight digs.
Rocio Chavira had seven digs for the Bloodhounds.
John Jay is back in action on Saturday for a pair of conference matches at the CUNYAC multi match at the ARC Arena at Baruch Colllege. The Bloodhounds face the College of Staten Island at 12 p.m. before meeting the City College of New York at 2 p.m.
