NEW YORK, N.Y.— The John Jay women's volleyball team was defeated in two matches on Monday afternoon as the Bloodhounds lost both matches at the CUNYAC multi-match at Baruch College. The Bloodhounds lost to the City College of New York (CCNY) 3-0 (25-18, 25-15, 25-20) before falling to Baruch College 3-0 (25-5, 25-18, 25-8) later in the day.
Against CCNY, the Bloodhounds were led by
Martina Hot with eight kills and seven digs, while
Hakimah Lovell-McFee,
Sarah Young and
Latanya Buckham had three kills each.
Katherine Bonilla had 10 assists, while
Ashley Diaz had eight digs.
Against Baruch, Hot had four kills to lead the Bloodhounds, while Lovell-McFee, Buckham and Young had one kill each.
John Jay returns to action on Thursday for a match at the College of Mount Saint Vincent at 7 p.m.
