Women's Volleyball Falls to St. Joseph's-Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, N.Y.— John Jay women's volleyball was defeated by St. Joseph's-Brooklyn 3-0 (25-20, 25-18, 25-15) on Friday evening in a contest at Brooklyn Technical High School.
 
John Jay is now 1-14 overall this season.
 
The Bloodhounds were led by Martina Hot with nine kills, seven digs and one service ace, while Hakimah Lovell-McFee and Qendresa Efendija had four kills each. Katherine Bonilla had 17 assists, four digs and a service ace.
 
St. Joseph's-Brooklyn got a match-high 11 kills from Megan Moran, while teammate Lauren GaNun had 10 kills (no errors) on 16 attack attempts for a .625 attack percentage. She added five service aces for the Bears.
 
St. Joseph's-Brooklyn recorded a solid .299 attack percentage (35 kills, 12 errors, 77 total attacks).
 
John Jay is back in action on Monday Oct. 15 at New Jersey City University (NJCU) at 7 p.m.
