Men’s Volleyball Swept by Penn State Behrend

New York, N.Y.— The John Jay College men's volleyball was defeated in three sets by Penn State Behrend on Sunday afternoon. The Bloodhounds lost by scores of 25-10, 25-9, 25-13 to fall to 1-6 overall this season.
 
With the win by PSU Behrend, the Lions improve to 4-12 on the season and finish their weekend New York trip 2-1 overall.
 
Juan Hernandez led the way for John Jay with five kills. Meanwhile Dale Hoa and Swindon Charles had three kills each. Frankie Galang had eight assists, a service ace and five digs in the contest for the Bloodhounds.
 
PSU Behrend was led by Nate Steele with eight kills (one error) on nine attacking attempts (.778 attacking percentage). Fellow teammate Troy Larson had five kills and a service ace. Meanwhile Kevin Dyer and Grant Kocher had four kills each. Colin Ingram had 18 assists for the Lions.
 
PSU Behrend hit an amazing percentage of .463 (32 kills, seven errors, 54 total attacks) in the contest, including a .591 showing (13 kills, no errors, 22 attempts) in the first set.
