Box Score New York, N.Y.— The John Jay men's volleyball team was defeated in three straight by Hunter College at the Hunter Sportsplex on Tuesday evening. The Bloodhounds lost by scores of 25-10, 25-8, 25-7.
John Jay was led by
Korede Griffith and
Nicholas Todaro with two kills each. Teammates
Rashid Allah Morad,
Juan Hernandez and
Dale Hoa had one kills each in the match as the Bloodhounds managed seven kills. Hoa added six assists and a match co-high five digs.
Hunter was led by Chris Newcomb with 12 kills, two service aces and four digs, while John Gemeguh had seven kills.
The host Hawks had a .397 attack percentage, including .619 percentage in the third set.
