Purchase, N.Y.— The John Jay men's volleyball team earned its fourth win of the season on Thursday evening with a 3-0 sweep over SUNY Purchase. The Bloodhounds won 25-19 in the first set, 25-18 in the second, before winning a thrilling 30-28 set in the third for the sweep.
John Jay is now 4-13 overall this season.
The Bloodhounds were led by
Rashid Allah Morad with six kills, while
Ching Wu added five kills and two assists.
Frankie Galang and
Nicholas Todaro added three kills each, while Galang added four service aces and five digs. Todaro added three digs.
SUNY Purchase was led by Blake Borysewicz with nine kills and seven solo blocks.
John Jay returns to action on Monday April 2 for a match at York College at 7 p.m.
