Jamaica, N.Y.— The John Jay men's volleyball team fell on the road Monday evening to York College, losing 3-0 (25-20, 25-12, 25-10).
The Bloodhounds were led by
Korede Griffith with eight kills, while
Frankie Galang and
Nicholas Todaro had two each. Galang chimed in with a service ace, two assists and three digs in the match.
Dale Hoa had 10 assists and four digs for the Bloodhounds.
York was led by Edner Geffard with eight kills and two service aces, while Tobi Awopetu had seven kills and five solo blocks.
John Jay returns to action on Wednesday for a home contest against Brooklyn College at 6 p.m.
