NEW YORK, N.Y.— The John Jay women's volleyball team earned a 3-0 (25-13, 25-16, 25-23) win over Medgar Evers College for their first win of the season on Tuesday evening at the Doghouse.
The Bloodhounds are now 1-4 (1-2 CUNYAC) this season, while Medgar Evers is now 0-4 (0-3 CUNYAC).
John Jay was led by
Martina Hot with 15 kills, five service aces and seven digs, while
Hakimah Lovell-McFee continues her solid play this season with another solid game of eight kills and four service aces.
Katherine Bonilla chimed in with 27 assists and four service aces, while
Bridgette Sarco had 10 digs plus a service ace.
Medgar Evers was led by Beatrice Bonhomme with seven kills and two service aces, while Janeice Hill added five kills and six digs for the Cougars.
