NEW YORK, N.Y.— The John Jay women's volleyball team lost in three sets to the College of Staten Island (CSI) on Tuesday, losing 25-13, 25-9, 28-26 at the Doghouse.
John Jay is now 1-5 (1-3 CUNYAC), while CSI improves to 2-6 (2-2 CUNYAC).
John Jay was led by
Martina Hot with seven kills, six digs and three service aces. Meanwhile teammate,
Latanya Buckham added three kills and four digs.
Katherine Bonilla had 17 assists, with four digs, plus a service ace.
CSI was led by Pola Poskrobko with 10 kills and four service aces. Selma Kolenovic had five kills for the Dolphins, while Jennifer Lewandowski had 13 digs and two service aces.
John Jay returns to action on Tuesday, September 24 for a home contest against St. Joseph's-Brooklyn at 6 p.m.
