Kings Point, N.Y.— The John Jay women's volleyball team was defeated by the United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) 3-0 (25-6, 25-15, 25-15) on Tuesday evening.

The Bloodhounds were led by Hakimah Lovell-McFee with four kills, while Martina Hot had three kills and two service aces. Katherine Bonilla had eight assists, seven kids and a service ace.

John Jay is back in action on Saturday at the CUNYAC multimatch. The Bloodhounds will face Lehman College and York College.
