CENTERVILLE, Mass.— After its best regular season in almost a decade, the John Jay men's basketball team has earned a postseason bid as the Bloodhounds have earned a spot into the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Metro Regional Championship.

John Jay, who currently stands at 15-13 overall record and finished in the runner up spot in the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) / Con Edison postseason championship, will be the No. 5 seed in the eight team tournament. The Bloodhounds will play at No. 4 seed College of Mt. St. Mary in Newburgh, N.Y on Wednesday at 8 p.m. If the Bloodhounds win that game, they advance into the semifinal where they will play the winner between No. 1 Richard Stockton College and No. 8 Sage College on Saturday.
