NEW YORK, N.Y.— The John Jay men's volleyball team earned a 3-1 win (17-25, 25-23, 29-27, 25-15) over Sarah Lawrence College at the Doghouse on Tuesday evening.
The win was John Jay's second of the season as the Bloodhounds improved to 2-7 overall on the year. Sarah Lawrence College falls to 1-13 overall.
The Bloodhounds were led by
Jack Palleschi with 14 kills (five errors) on 25 attacks for a .360 attack percentage. He also contributed a match-high 12 digs and four service aces.
Korede Griffith contributed eight kills and 10 digs in the win, while
Yevgeniy Remennik had seven kills and six digs.
Oshea Alexander had three kills and four solo blocks.
Sarah Lawrence was led by Harrison Holmes with 23 kills and two service aces. Fellow teammate Chris Manfugas added five kills, seven digs, two solo blocks and a block assist. Ishaan Pujari had five kills and a team-high nine digs.
John Jay returns to action on Thu. Mar. 14 for a home contest against Lehman College at 6 p.m.
