Men's Volleyball Loses in Four to Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, N.Y.— The John Jay men's volleyball team was defeated in four sets at Brooklyn College (19-25, 25-18, 18-25, 25-27) on Tuesday evening.
 
The loss snaps John Jay's three match win streak as the Bloodhounds fall to 4-8 (1-7 CUNYAC) on the year, while Brooklyn College improves to 9-8 (5-3 CUNYAC).
 
Jack Palleschi and Frankie Galang led the way for the Bloodhounds with seven kills each. Palleschi added 12 digs and four total blocks, while Galang chipped in with three service aces, nine digs and two blocks.
 
Fellow teammate Yevgeniy Remennik added five kills and 13 digs, while Nicholas Anderson had 20 assists and five digs.
 
Brooklyn College was led by Serhan Akturk with 13 kills, 13 digs and two service aces.
 
John Jay is back in action on Thursday for two matches at Medgar Evers College starting at 6 p.m.
