NEW YORK, N.Y.— The John Jay men's volleyball team was defeated in a pair of games at the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) multi match on Saturday afternoon as the Bloodhounds lost 3-0 (25-13, 25-17, 25-20) to the City College of New York (CCNY) before falling to York College 3-0 (25-6, 25-23, 25-21) at Nat Holman Gymnasium on the campus of CCNY.
The losses leave the Bloodhounds at 7-10 (3-9 CUNYAC) this season.
In the opener, John Jay was led by
Jack Palleschi with seven kills, five digs and three solo blocks, while
Oshea Alexander had six kills and four blocks.
Yevgeniy Remennik added eight digs, while
Nicholas Anderson had 15 assists and two service aces.
Against York, Palleschi had nine kills, six digs and two blocks, while
Frankie Galang had seven kills, eight digs and two service aces.
Korede Griffith had five kills and four digs.
