NEW YORK, N.Y.— The John Jay men's volleyball season came to an end on Tuesday evening as the Bloodhounds were defeated by Hunter College 3-0 (25-18, 25-10, 25-10) in the quarterfinal round of the 2013 City University of New York Athletic Conference / Con Edison men's volleyball championship.
John Jay, the No. 7 seed in the tournament, ends its 2013 campaign at 8-13 overall (3-11 CUNYAC).
In Tuesday's match, the Bloodhounds were led by
Frankie Galang with five kills, five assists, three digs and a service ace, while
Yevgeniy Remennik and
Korede Griffith had three kills each.
Nicholas Anderson had two kills, seven assists and five digs in the match.
Hunter was led by Nino Hot with 12 kills, while Braien Otsla had seven kills and six digs.
