The women's soccer team lost to the College of Staten Island, 3-0, in a non-conference match on Saturday afternoon in Staten Island, NY. The Bloodhounds fall to 3-13 overall. The Dolphins improve to 7-7-2 on the season.
The first twenty-five minutes of play consisted of Staten Island pressuring the Bloodhounds but John Jay played stingy defense. However with twenty minutes left to play in the half, CSI scored to give them a 1-0 lead. The hosts added their second goal of the game right before the half to take a 2-0 lead.
The Dolphins added an insurance goal in the second half to take the contest by a score of 3-0.

Andrea Antoni made eight saves in net while freshman
Kelli Doherty made three. John Jay recorded two shots in the contest. Junior
Katelyn Davis and freshman Joanna Sanchez registered the shots.
The Bloodhounds close out the season on Monday, October 27, for a conference match at 7pm against Lehman College. Before the match, the Athletics Department will honor its three graduating seniors.
