The men's volleyball team defeated St. Joseph's College Brooklyn 3-1 (25-23, 25-15, 22-25, 25-17) on Monday evening at the Doghouse. With the win, the Bloodhounds improve to 5-12 on the season. The Bears drop to 4-10 overall.
The Bloodhounds were led by sophomore
Jack Palleschi, who finished with a double-double with a game-high 32 kills and 11 digs. Sophomore
Nicholas Anderson also recorded a double-double with 48 assists, 10 digs, eight kills, and a game-high three service aces. Junior
Korede Griffith registered 10 digs, six kills, and five assists. Sophomore
Francisco Miranda and senior
Yevgeniy Remennik added 13 and 10 digs, respectively.
The Bears' Raul Urshela finished with a team-high 12 kills. Iqbal Husain dished out 25 assists and Taso Kostikas had a team-high 14 digs.
The Bloodhounds will have their final home match at the Doghouse on Wednesday, March 26, at 6:30pm against Yeshiva University.
