Box Score 2 The men's volleyball team defeated Medgar Evers, 3-0 (25-16, 25-14, 25-10), and lost to Baruch College, 3-0 (25-17, 25-17, 25-16), on Saturday at the Doghouse. The Bloodhounds now stand at 3-9 overall and 1-6 in the CUNY Athletic Conference.
In the win against the Cougars, sophomore
Jack Palleschi led the way with a game-high 17 kills to go along with three digs and two service aces. Sophomore
Nicholas Anderson dished out a game-high 28 assists, four digs, and two service aces. Senior
Yevgeniy Remennik recorded five kills, four assists, two service aces, and a game-high seven digs. Senior
Oshea Alexander picked up four kills and junior
Eric Li registered the Bloodhounds lone block.
In the match against the Bearcats, Palleschi finished with eight kills and three digs. Remennik recorded five kills and five digs and Anderson dished out 15 assists. Sophomore
Francisco Miranda registered a team-high six digs for the Bloodhounds.Â
The Bloodhounds continue their home stand on Tuesday, March 11, at 6pm against the Hunter Hawks.
