The men's soccer team lost to Rowan University, 6-2, on Saturday afternoon in Glassboro, NJ. The Bloodhounds drop to 0-6 on the season (0-0 in CUNYAC) while the Prof's improve to 3-3.
Rowan scored four goals in the first 12 minutes of the contest. Senior
Yotam Bloom responded with a goal from a shot 30 yards out to cut the deficit to three. Twelve minutes later, Rowan added another goal to give them a 5-1 lead. Once again, the Bloodhounds responded. Senior
Graysen Carlson scored on a shot from 20 yards out into the lower left corner. The Prof's recorded another goal in the second half to take the non-conference game by a score of 6-2.
Carlson led John Jay with six shots, four shots on goal, and a goal. Junior
Andrew Berman allowed one goal and made 11 saves in the contest.
The Bloodhounds head into the conference schedule on Saturday, September 20. They will face the Bulldogs of Brooklyn College at 12:30pm in Brooklyn, NY.
