The women's volleyball team lost to Montclair State, 3-0 (25-15, 25-16, 25-11), on Saturday afternoon in Montclair, NJ. The Bloodhounds fall to 1-4 in 2014 while the Red Hawks improve to 3-1. 

Junior Jeanette Luna led John Jay with five digs, two blocks, and two digs. Senior Katherine Bonilla dished out 10 assists to go along with four digs. Junior Latanya Buckham finished with four kills and five digs. Junior Perla Pozo had seven digs. 

The Bloodhounds host the College of New Rochelle on Thursday, September 11, at 7:00pm. This will be the first official match at the newly renovated Doghouse.
