Women's Volleyball Loses to Western Connecticut State

Box Score The women's volleyball team fell to Western Connecticut State, 3-0 (25-5, 25-15, 25-11), on Friday evening in Danbury, Connecticut. The Bloodhounds drop to 7-13 on the year. The Colonials improve to 17-10 overall. 

Senior Latanya Buckham recorded a team-high five kills, seven digs, three assists, and one service ace. Junior Katrina Zapanta dished out a team-high eight assists to go along with four kills and two digs. Sophomore Rachel Eng finished with two kills, a team-high nine digs, and one ace. Senior Perla Pozo added seven digs. 

John Jay totaled 13 kills, 12 assists, two service aces, and 29 digs. 

The Bloodhounds travel to York College on Tuesday, October 27, for a conference match at 7:00 pm.
