FINAL STATSThe rifle team went 1-1 against the United States Coast Guard Academy (NCAA only) and defeated Yale University in a MAC match this past weekend in London, CT. The Bloodhounds defeated USCGA in air rifle, 2307-2290, and fell in smallbore, 2221-2172. John Jay then defeated Yale in smallbore, 2172-1963.
The air rifle score of 2307 is now a new program-high for the Bloodhounds.
In air, sophomore
Angelica DeAraujo and freshman
Lily Graham tied for first with a score of 581. Senior
Connie Villon finished in third with a 579 and junior
Ronald Kopec rounded out the top four shooting a 566.
In smallbore, Graham led John Jay with a 565. Kopec placed second (565), followed by DeAraujo (528), and senior
Matthew Pascual (518).

Franklin Wong all recorded personal bests for John Jay.
The Bloodhounds travel to Cambridge, MA on Saturday, October 31, for matches against MIT and Wentworth Institute of Technology.
