The rifle team defeated SUNY Maritime, 2274-2164, for their eighth straight Big Apple championship on Saturday, December 5, on the campus of Maritime College. The Bloodhounds improve to 7-1 in air rifle discipline. 

Freshman Lily Graham placed first of all qualifiers with a score of 573. Juniors Angelica DeAraujo and Ronald Kopec tied for second with a 570 and rounding out the top four was senior Connie Villon with a 561. 

The Bloodhounds travel to Philadelphia, PA on Friday, January 29, for matches against Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Loyola University.
