Two Bloodhounds Finish With Double-Doubles as Men's Volleyball Storms by St. Joseph's Brooklyn

Box Score The men's volleyball team swept St. Joseph's College Brooklyn, 3-0 (25-15, 25-20, 25-17), on Monday evening in Brooklyn, NY. The Bloodhounds improve to 5-3 overall. The Bears drop to 4-3 on the season. 

John Jay was led by juniors Nicholas Anderson and Jack Palleschi, who recorded double-doubles each. Anderson finished with a game-high 18 assists, 10 kills, six digs, and a game-high five service aces. Palleschi registered a game-high 11 kills, 12 assists, three digs, and two service aces. Senior Yevgeniy Remennik picked up seven kills and eight digs. Freshman Juan DeJesus had a game-high 11 digs and six kills.

The Bloodhounds totaled 38 kills compared to St. Joseph's 11. John Jay also finished with 32 assists, 35 digs, and 11 service aces.

The Bloodhounds travel to Hunter College on Thursday, February 26, for a conference match at 7 p.m.
