The women's basketball team lost to Baruch College, 78-34, on Tuesday evening at the Doghouse. With the loss, the Bloodhounds drop to 3-16 on the season and 3-10 in the conference. The Bearcats improve to 15-4 overall and remain undefeated in the conference at 11-0.

Brianna Cunningham recorded 10 points each for John Jay. Chu also had four rebounds, two assists, and a steal. Cunningham registered six rebounds and one steal. Junior

Claire Prince had five.
Baruch led 40-11 at the half. The Bearcats outscored John Jay in the second half, 78-34.
The Bloodhounds continue their homestand on Friday, February 6, at 5pm against Medgar Evers College. In their last meeting in Brooklyn, John Jay defeated the Cougars, 60-40.
