The men's basketball team fell to Medgar Evers College, 65-62, on Friday night at the Doghouse. The Bloodhounds drop to 4-19 on the year and 3-11 in the CUNY Athletic Conference. The Cougars improve to 3-19 overall and 2-11 in the conference.
Sophomore
Ronald Merriwether led the Bloodhounds with 15 points, a team-high seven rebounds, and three steals. Senior
Kris Owens recorded a team-high 18 points and six rebounds. Senior
Korede Griffith registered 10 points, five rebounds, and a game-high six steals. Senior
Darell Robinson added eight points and senior
Anthony Saldarriaga dished out two assists.
Medgar Evers went into halftime leading, 28-25. Both teams recorded 37 points in the second half.
