The baseball team fell to Rutgers-Newark, 10-0, on Tuesday afternoon at the Bears and Eagles Riverfront Stadium in Newark, NJ. The Bloodhounds drop to 0-4 on the early season. The Scarlet Raiders improve to 5-7 on the year.
The hosts jumped out to a 2-0 lead after two full innings. They increased their lead to six after the sixth inning. In Rutgers-Newark's final frame, the Scarlet Raiders scored two runs.
