The men's soccer team lost to Wesleyan University, 7-1, on Tuesday evening in Middletown, CT. The Bloodhounds drop to 1-6 on the season. The Cardinals improve to 2-1.
The hosts scored five goals in the first half and outshot John Jay, 17-2. Sophomore
Daniel Hoyte made four saves in the first 45 minutes.
In the second half, junior
Abdul Malik Muftau made a pass to Carlson, who blasted it to the back of the net for his 8th goal of the season. The Sacramento, CA native is now tied for first in
NCAA DIII in goals.
Hoyte finished with 10 saves in the contest.
The Bloodhounds enter conference play on Wednesday, September 23, when they travel to Hunter College at 12 p.m.
