The women's soccer team tied Brooklyn College, 0-0, on Monday afternoon at Randall's Island. The Bloodhounds are now 0-4-1 on the season and 0-0-1 in the CUNY Athletic Conference. The Bulldogs stand at 1-3-1 overall and 0-0-1 in the conference.
Brooklyn outshot John Jay 9-1 in the first half. Senior
Andrea Antoni made five saves. In the second half, both teams recorded one shot on goal each. With no score after 90 minutes, the match would go into overtime.
In the first extra period, the Bloodhounds registered one shot and Brooklyn was held shotless. In the second frame, neither team recorded a shot.
Sophomore
Camila Vasquez led John Jay with two shots on goal. Freshmen
Cayleen Young and
May Dempsey picked up a shot each. Antoni finished with six saves.
