The women's soccer team shutout Sarah Lawrence, 2-0, on Thursday night at Randall's Island. The Bloodhounds improve to 1-4-2 on the season. The Gryphons fall to 3-3 on the year.

Zola Campbell scored her first goal of the game on a deflection in the box to increase the lead to two.
The Bloodhounds outshot Sarah Lawrence 7-2 in the first half. Senior
Andrea Antoni made one save.
The second half was quiet as the Gryphons intensified the pressure. Fortunately, John Jay's defense minimized any scoring opportunities. The Gryphons were held scoreless in the half.
Antoni picked up the shutout and recorded two saves. John Jay outshot Sarah Lawrence 10-4.
The Bloodhounds travel to Manhattanville College on Saturday, September 26, for a non-conference match at 1:00 pm.
