The women's basketball team lost to Lehman College, 76-26, on Friday evening at the Doghouse. The Bloodhounds fall to 4-12 overall and 2-8 in the conference. The Bulldogs improve to 13-5 and 9-1 in CUNYAC. 

Junior Cassandra Taylor led John Jay with 13 points, seven rebounds, three blocks, and a team-high two steals. Sophomore Victoria Royal recorded six points, six rebounds, and one block. Freshman Karen Rosario grabbed six rebounds and had three blocks. 

John Jay went 8-for-49 (16.3%) from the field, 1-for-12 (8.3%) from behind the arc, and 9-for-20 (45%) from the free-throw line. 

The Bloodhounds host Centenary College (NJ) on Monday, January 25, at 7:00 pm.
