The men's soccer team drew to a 1-1 tie against York College on Saturday afternoon at Aviator Field in Brooklyn, NY. The Bloodhounds are now 2-9-1 overall and 1-2-1 in conference play. The Cardinals are 0-9-1 and 0-3-1 in CUNYAC.
John Jay dominated the first half as the Bloodhounds outshot York 7-1. Approximately 10 minutes into the second half, senior
Gerardo Flores-Ramirez recorded his first goal of the season to give the Bloodhounds a 1-0 lead. One minute later, the Cardinals tied the score and the game would go into overtime.
John Jay registered four shots in the first extra period and three in the second but could not capitalize. The Bloodhounds outshot the Cardinals 25-4 in the contest.

Curtis Harbers finished with a game-high five shots and a game-high three shots on goal. Senior
Gerardo Flores-Ramirez and sophomore
Oscar Barrientos picked up four shots each.
The Bloodhounds host Baruch College on Wednesday, October 5, at 4:00 pm at Randall's Island Field 75.
