The women's basketball team fell to Ramapo College, 70-44, on Friday evening in Mahwah, NJ. The Bloodhounds drop to 0-2 on the season. The Roadrunners improve to 2-0 overall.

Ramapo took an early lead and went up 24-6 at the end of the first. John Jay chipped away and trailed 25-17 at half. The Bloodhounds outscored the Roadrunners in the fourth quarter by a margin of 18-14.
John Jay went 15-for-52 (28.8%) from the field, 3-for-10 (30.0%) from behind the arc, and 11-for-21 (52.4%) from the free throw line.
The Bloodhounds will take on St. Joseph's College Brooklyn in the consolation game on Saturday, November 19, at 12:00 pm.
