The rifle team swept the Massachusetts Institute Technology in both air rifle and smallbore on Saturday in Cambridge, MA. The Bloodhounds shot a 2257 in air and 2110 in smallbore. John Jay improves to 5-0 in air rifle and 3-1 in smallbore.
Lily Graham led the Bloodhounds in both air rifle and smallbore. In air, the sophomore fired a 569, which was the match's highest score. Senior
Angelica DeAraujo and sophomore
Ida Sato finished tied for second with a score of 564. Senior
Ronald Kopec placed right behind with a 560.
In smallbore, Graham led all scorers with a 545. Kopec recorded a 535, good for second place. Rounding out the top four were DeAraujo (523) and freshman Marc Sato (507).
The Bloodhounds host Maritime College on Saturday, December 3, at 9:00 am in the Big Apple Classic at the Marksmanship Training Facility. During the match, the Athletics Department will honor seniors,
